For our part, we have agreed to have the multi-echo atlas construction at 1.5T complete within 12 months. In addition, we will begin investigating 3T protocols and segmentation accuracy, and have a preliminary recommendation within 6 months. Finally, we will also continue our comparison of mp-rage and multi-echo FLASH, and have results comparing them in terms of CNR and test-retest reproducibility within 6 months.

Oct 2004 - Apr 2005: apply MIRIAD processing tools to MS data (with Charles Guttmann and Lifeng Liu of BWH Center for Neurological Imaging). This will provide additional refinement and validation of the ability to detect white matter lesions for comparison with previous CNI work. <br /> Apr 2005 - Oct 2005: Improved white matter lesion detection procedures will be applied back to the Duke depression data set.
