- Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering or Physics, with at least 5 years proven experience with developing and/or modifying robot, preferably in the academic research setting.
Strong skill in C++ programming is needed.
Experience in developing PC-based motion controllers system is a preferable.
Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: motion controllers, coordinate transformation, programmable logic controllers (PLC), network programming, linux administration, and machine vision technology.

Training Specialist (Part-time)

Training Specialist
- Characteristic duties and responsibilities
Designs and coordinates training programs based on 3D Slicer for Image Guided Therapy. Conducts training courses. Interfaces with the internal and external users of 3D Slicer on behalf of the NCIGT. Performs interviews and consultation surveys with management to analyze training needs. Assists in compiling training manuals for specific topics. Assists and encourages collaborators to develop their unique research program through training programs. Develops training resources by preparing notes and visual displays in coordination with training needs and specific departmental needs.
- Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering or Physics, with at least 5 years proven experience with biomedical engineering research including programming and at least one year of proven experience in teaching in higher-education. Candidate must have a sufficient language skill to conduct lectures in English. Experience in image guided therapy is a strong plus. Knowledge in patient-to-image registration, image registration, image segmentation, and medical visualization are plus. Experience in programing in UNIX environment is a strong plus. Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: motion controllers, coordinate transformation, and machine vision technology.
