Robotics programmer and engineer (Full-time)

Robotics programmer and engineer
- Characteristic duties and responsibilities
- Design, test, and build surgical robots
- Develop control software for surgical robot
- Document the detail of the robot
- Technically assist in academic researchers
- Interface external collaborators and assist in their application using the developed tools and software
Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering or Physics, with at least 5 years proven experience
with developing and/or modifying robot, preferably in the academic research setting.
Strong skill in C++ programming is needed.
Experience in developing PC-based motion controllers system is a preferable.
Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: motion controllers, coordinate transformation, programmable logic controllers (PLC), network programming, linux administration, and machine vision technology.
Competitive according to experience.
