− | Post-Doc position in image processing, based in the Surgical Planning Laboratory at BWH to carry out the design and implementation of image processing techniques primarily for use in image guided prostate interventions (such a biopsy and brachytherapy), including registration and segmentation of prostate MR 3T images and validate them in clinical image guided therapy studies.

− | =Qualifications=

− | The successful candidate must have PhD in computer science or related field. The candidate is required to have practical experience in medical image processing research in graduate studies or post-graduate studies. Expertise in programming in C++ and MATLAB are required. Experience with medical image processing and visualization is critical. Excellent publication track record in medical image processing would be an asset. Programming experience with VTK, ITK, and 3D Slicer on cross platforms environment is plus. An understanding of surgical planning and navigation systems is plus. Ability and willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team is a must.
