1. Presentation by Santiago - "Optimal filtering and noise estimation on DTI data" (slides are attached in lmmse.pdf)
- We will try to apply this filtering to 1.5T data for fornix and cingulum tractography
2. Update from Marc on EPI outlier removal
- Our pipeline for new data will consist of:
- Scanning
- Resampling
- Outlier removal
- Noise estimation/Filtering
- Distortion correction (can be done at any point, only looks at the distortion maps) - this is on hold until we get the software from NanQuei
3. 3T SPGRs
- The new SPGRs have an artifact that is preventing measurement of cortical thickness in Freesurfer (but segmentation is still possible)
- Sylvain will try some bias field correction on these images
4. Clustering in Slicer
- The clustering part of DTMRI module is not consistent--there is some stochastic element that produces different results when using the same settings multiple times
- Marek will contact Lauren about this issue.
