Meeting Minutes
mi2b2 software update
- Randy supplied a list of MRNs and associated image data sets that can be used for testing at BWH and MGH. Chris and Ed did a test at BWH. Performance wise it was very good, CT and MRI were showing up in a couple of seconds. Among the test patients, a couple of studies were not showing up. Katie will take a look at it because some of the DICOM headers might have been manipulated and it would be the reason for the problem. At CHB Paul mentioned that they were not able to display the images but they can see the study and the transfer of data, it is either a visualization problem or linked to the decompression of data. Phase 3 programming continues to progress steadily. Chris and Bill are still working on "throttling" issues- controls for regulating image movement. Programmers are also working on the UI.

- All the abstracts (CTSC Informatics and SIIMS) were submitted.
XNAT -- mi2b2 integration
- There are 2 early tests to be done with XNAT:
- allow XNAT user to ask i2b2 if the password given to log on is correct.
- test transfer of images to XNAT. We will need an admin set up in NAT which i2b2 knows the password for. The admin will have to create a subject in XNAT then push the data.
- Everybody agreed that we need a new XNAT instance. Is it feasible to have it reside in the cloud? If so we must make sure that there is no PHS data. If not the instance will be beyond our firewall and it means getting a new IRB so the XNAT team can access it.
