The project aims to discuss the concept of integrative OR environments from a neurosurgical design perspective. Open questions to be addressed include qualitative standardization of information visualization for intraoperative use, integration of PACS and non-PACS imaging data sets, and ready-to-use image control setup operated by surgeons and staff.

Project Description

The project discusses visualization concepts for intraoperative use of functional mapping data (fMRI+DTI, nTMS+DTI) beyond standard neuronavigation.

Objective Approach and Plan Progress and Next Steps
  • create study design to evaluate adjustments in providing functional data intraoperatively
  • sketch out design concept for context-sensitive functional information including integration in intraoperative workflows
