Meeting Minutes

Welcome Vincent Roch

Vincent is a master's student at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. He is doing his thesis project with Randy Gollub on a mi2b2 enabled project. He will be assisting this team in doing QA for medical images in the next phase of development.

mi2b2 software update

  • Chris reports that Phase 3 programming continues to progress steadily. He and Bill are currently working on "throttling" issues- controls for regulating image movement. Can set implementation time window (chose time when the request can be made) and checks work queue and can limit requests if system is busy. It is likely that this aspect will need much customization for each installation site. In parallel they are also working on Phase 2 problems regarding issues about the status of the "test" images available at the sites which were coming back flagged as "off line" will be addressed in parallel using a list supplied by Randy of MRNs and associated image data sets that can be used for testing at BWH and MGH. And in parallel, i2b2 programmer is writing the code for the GUI. It is a highly complex interface from a programming standpoint.
