For US investigators seeking collablration
We are motivated to work with external collaborators using Slicer as a tool to bridge their idea and our idea, and NIH supports it. NA-MIC, the hosting center for Slicer development, is part of NIH Roadmap initiative, which offers funding to promote collaboration with existing center. See more detail on this opportunity. http://wiki.na-mic.org/Wiki/index.php/Collaborator:Resources
For International investigators
The core development team of Slicer 3D at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School [splweb.bwh.harvard.edu] have a long history of collaborating with international institutions to exchange students and faculties. Slicer for IGT is a useful shared tool to gurantee continuity of research before/during/after the visit to each other's institution. Please contact Nobuhiko Hata (hata at-mark bwh.harvard.edu) to hear more about the success story of international collaborations.
For Industrial Partners
We seek our collaboration IGT using Slicer as a vehicle for dissemination. Please see a sample "Statement of Intent" form (Word, blank PDF) for application for collaboration, and contact Nobuhiko Hata (hata at bwh.harvard.edu) for more detail. We can also provide our statement of intent to you (sample PDF), for your internal process.
