Agenda

1. Consultations: 2 new requests:

Imaging-116: Dr Jong Woo Lee (BWH): My proposed project is a study of structural abnormalities in brain tumor associated seizures. I am using statistical mapping techniques and deformation analysis. I would like to learn more about advanced computational techniques in neuroimaging, particularly in structural imaging, DTI, and statistical mapping.

Imaging-117: Dr Peter Caravan (MGH): We've made and imaged a PET probe in animal models. We are wondering if there was any type or core for the translational studies required for a new probe: IND enabling studies and maybe Phase I safety/dosimetry. And if there is, whether there were funding mechanisms available.

2. Education agenda:

a. here are the final dates and location:

Monday March 22 (9 am-12 pm), Carrie Hall BWH (cardiovascular imaging)
Tuesday March 23 (2-5 pm), Simches 3.120 MGH (cardiovascular imaging)
Thursday April 1st (2-5 pm), Simches 3.120 MGH (neuroimaging)
Friday April 9 (8am-12 pm), Ledge Room (one brigham circle) BWH (neuroimaging)
Friday May 21 (8am-12 pm), Ducan Reid BWH (Imaging in oncology)
Thursday June 3 (2-5 pm), Simches 3.120 MGH(Imaging in oncology)

b. The neuroimaging group has already a first draft of the structure of its module:

Both cardiovascular and oncology groups can add details for their modules here:
