Project Description
Objective
- Create slicer CLI to identify liver, aortic arch and cerebellum regions in whole body FDG-18 PET/CT scans
- Methods described in C. Bauer et al. (2012): Automated Measurement of Uptake in Cerebellum, Liver, and Aortic Arch in Full-body FDG PET/CT Scans
- http://scitation.aip.org/content/aapm/journal/medphys/39/6/10.1118/1.4711815
Approach, Plan
- Consolidate current source code
- Wrap into Slicer CLI
- internally brain segmentation required
- Start with liver region
- Add aortic arch region
- Add cerebellum region
Progress
- Implemented Slicer CLI for segmentation of brain
- Implemented Slicer CLI for segmentation of liver reference region
