- N. Aucoin posted updates to documentation to specify more ways of generating the data provenance values: Generating Output

- S. Pieper and N. Aucoin are working together to update the BIRNDUP scripts and make them data provenance aware, for demo at the 2006 mBIRN spring conference.
May 17, 2005
- A provenance data description document (DTD) has been completed.
- Provenance fields as described in this DTD have been incorporated into HID.
- The Provenance DTD document has been converted into an XML schema document (XSD).
- This XSD has been incorporated into XNAT.
- For Oct 2005, BIRN (FreeSurfer, MIRIAD, SASHA) projects will be tested using the provanence in conjunction with XNAT and HID; and sample queries based upon this information will be implemented. POSTPONED.

- Moved the data provenance documentation onto the Wiki, as the previous incarnation as a Word Document in the BIRN CC CVS repository was too static and hard to find. Documentation
- Preparing for a seminar at BWH to discuss data provenance in the context of processing pipelines, with attendees from MGH, and their GCRC. To be held Tuesday February 8, 2005 at 1249 Boylston St.
