Objective
Pursue effort that will allow the distribution of Slicer as a debian package.
Approach, Plan
Slicer specific patches associated with VTK, CTK, ITK, PythonQt, etc ... have to be contributed upstream. Slicer will be linked against QT 4.8.2
Progress
- PythonQt: Maintainer has been contacted to that CTK/Slicer patches could be integrated.

Delivery Mechanism
This work will be delivered to the NA-MIC Kit as contribution to dependent packages.
