Project Description
Objective
- Explore possibilities of upcoming consumer-level immersive virtual reality devices (Oculus Rift head-mounted display, Leap Motion controller)
Approach, Plan
- OculusRift/Slicer discussion Thu Jan 9, 2014 5pm – 6pm
Progress
- Simple module integrating the Oculus Rift with 3D Slicer created
- Updated implementation to integrate with Slicer's 3D View
- Custom user mode to be added to Slicer stereoscopic mode menu
- Python script integration of the Leap Motion with 3D Slicer
