Home < Project Week 25

It is a pleasure announce that the 25th Project week will be held in Catanzaro Lido (Calabria, Italy) on June 26th-30th 2017.

This is the first time in Italy for the Slicer Community, and the event is organized in cooperation with ImagEngLab.

Catanzaro Lido is a city on the Ionian Sea, in the middle of Suillace’s Gulf where, according to the ancient legend, Odysseus started his journey back to Ithaca.

The venue will be held at Perla del Porto Hotel, where rooms can be also reserved for a special price by writing an email and specifying "Slicer Summer Project Week 2017”.

The e-mail address for booking is "prenotazioni at hotelperladelporto.it"

To guarantee the discount, reservation must be completed by June 1st 2017.

The closest airport is Lamezia Terme Airport (IATA: SUF).

The airport, especially during summertime, is directly connected with several Italian cities (Rome, Milan, Venice, Turin, Bologna, Pisa) as well as with different countries (Germany, Belgium, UK, Switzerland, Romania, Hungary, Canada and others).

The registration fee is 300€ and it includes lunches, coffee breaks and airport connections.

To register please contact Paolo Zaffino, PhD.

These webpage will be constantly updated with further logistic information and tips about the location.

Of course bring your swimsuit...the conference room and the hotel are 20 meters far away from the beach!
