Visualization of peritumoral diffusion streamlines in 3D Slicer. See here for an annotated version of this image. A tutorial on how this is analysis was performed can be found here.

Abstract: 3D Slicer is:

  • A software platform for the analysis and visualization of bio-medical images and for research in image guided therapy.
  • An extensible algorithm and application development platform with a powerful plug-in architecture.
  • A free, open source package available on multiple operating systems (Windows, MAC, Linux) built on the NA-MIC kit.

The presentation will provide an overview of the available technologies and demonstrations of some of the capabilities. Here are the presentation and a webcast
