Objective
The first version of the Iowa Finite Element Meshing module (IA_FEMesh), has been integrated with Slicer. A tutorial is being conducted during the AHM 2009 meeting. During the project week, outstanding issues with MRML and the Slicer Viewer classes will be addressed to further improve integration in future revisions of the module.
Approach, Plan
- Discussion with Steve and Alex regarding what changes are needed (if any) in the Slicer Viewer framework
to support more interactive objects with widgets and module-specific callbacks.
- Test MRML load and save capability.
- Migrate visualization techniques of mesh quality from custom code to using MRML Display Nodes instead.
