The medical center currently has 7 volumetric CT scanners. These include:
- 1 x Toshiba A1 with cardiac package (320 detector)
- 1 x Toshiba Aquilion with cardiac package (64 detector)
- 2 x GE VCT XT with cardiac package (64 detector)
- 2 x GE VCT (64 detector)
- 1 x GE VCT RT wide bore (16 detector)
Our affiliated facilities also utilize two additional scanners (GE Lightspeed 8 and 16), and we will soon be installing a third 64-detector VCT. These multidetector and volume CTs allow optimal scanning conditions for cardiac imaging, virtual colonoscopy, and CTAs.
