The current state of fMRI tools in Slicer 2.5 are shown in the Slicer Training 5 section at the bottom of the User Training 101 page.
Significant further development, with an emphasis on the data management and visualization aspects, are expected to continue with the renewal of the fBIRN.
Through NAMIC, the Slicer fMRI team hopes to adopt a statistics framework that will allow Core 1 algorithmic developments to be directly plugged in to the current Ibrowser/fMRIEngine systems for compatibility with both Core 3 data and with other investigators including the fBIRN users.
The meeting Tuesday afternoon September 27, 2005 will work out the implementation of that statistical framework using ITK. Specific tasks will be identified by the group and a work plan developed.
