- 9/21/05: Fiber tracking in the four Coronal AP cases appears normal.
- 8/25/05: Although it is ok to use these cases (coronal AP instead of PA) for measures like FA, ADC, etc., there is still confusion as to whether fiber tracking will work on these cases. Mark will look at the glyphs with Sylvain to see if renumbering the images alters the glyph pattern.
- 6/1/05: Renumber/restructuring of Coronal AP cases: Reordering the I.xxx files in blocks of 8 is not enough to correct for this problem (coronal AP instead of PA). Sylvain and CF will contact Raul about having a protocol that deals with this issue. Right now, there are 4 chronic cases with this problem, and Mark and the PIs need to check the other databases for similar cases
- 5/11/05: Mark and KangUk came up with a solution to this problem, but Sylvain brought up another issue involving the direction of the tensor. Is this a problem?
- March 2005: In DTI with coronal AP direction, there is a failure of proper coregistration using AG module (mutual transformation). Although both LSDIrecon or DTMRI converting script (I to D) work well if the orientation is set to 'coronal AP', the coregistred SPGR and Label maps shows flipped image. The initial orientation of SPGR and Label map has coronal PA direction. After coregistration it changed to coronal AP and 'Little Endian' is converted to 'yes'.
* Cases in coronal AP direction: caseD1, caseD7, caseD8, caseD22
