NIBIB Baby Brains R01 grant update

  • Our resubmitted grant was reviewed and received a very favorable score.
  • Shawn's admin team will reach out to the co-investigators for information that is required to submit for the Just In Time requirements.

mi2b2 software update

  • BIDMC update from Jesse is that he is discussion with his departmental team and the BIDMC IT leadership regarding how best to proceed and will keep up posted.
  • The mi2b2 software version 1.2 that allows one or more XNAT instances and/or DICOM receivers such as OSIRIX-MD to be specified per project is being deployed now at MGH.
  • Development work is focused on enhanced integration with i2b2 to improve performance when used in that mode.

manuscript

  • Progress is slow, on agenda for next meeting. Randy will circulate updated version for mi2b2 dev team to update the methods/results section with text about the XNAT/DICOM receiver enhancements.

SIIM Plug Fest

  • Bill reported that attendance at our demo was excellent with non-stop crowds watching our video demonstration and asking questions. Most common questions were on the topics of de-identification and data sharing. In response to question about sharing images across institutions. Bill gave an excellent response to the question
