Objective

Segmentation of prostate gland from 3D Transrectal Ultrasound images.

Approach, Plan

• Our goal is to work out a deformable model that can segment the prostate gland well, we are trying to find an appropriate energy function that can have good segmentation result for Ultrasound images.
• Since for a sigular method there won't be good segmentation result for the Ultrasound images because of the quality,so we are thing about the combinition of methods.

We plan to talk to the people who have been working on the Ultrasound segmentation, and then trying to put more restriction in our energy function.
