Project Description

Objective Approach and Plan Progress and Next Steps
  • Improve PLUS support in CustusX.
  • Add RT streaming from BK scanner.
  • Add streaming of tracking data from BrainLab.
  • Connect to PLUS simulator, add necessary support in CustusX.
  • Discuss missing features with PLUS team, add features to PLUS and/or add workarounds in CustusX.
  • Synchronize with US-OpenIGTLink standardization effort.
  • A protocol for transmitting tracked US images along with metadata has been agreed on.
  • The protocol will be used as a basis for integration CustusX<->PLUS.
  • The goal is to replace IGSTK with PLUS as the tracking backend in CustusX, and to add scanners as well.
