Crafting skill could help you make runescape gold as always you will need to work on your lower levels. If you are member then this is no problem. There are two good areas in the Members worlds that you can find the Flax. The first is just west of Catherby. The second is at the Tree Gnome Stronghold and is right next to a bank.

This material can be crafted into bow strings for all the different Bows in runescape. Go to either field and pick the flax. Once you have a full load head to the nearest spinning wheel. Once there you can turn the flax into bowstrings. You can then sell the bow strings to fletchers who will then make strung bows with it. You can get a full load of Flax made into bowstrings in about 5 minutes.

That is almost 3,000 every 5 minutes. That comes out to around 36k an hour. I have personally made up to 60k an hour doing the same thing. Flax sells for 50-100 GP each and bow string sells for 100-150 GP each.

Once you get to higher levels of crafting then you can take all those Dragon Hides that you got from killing Dragons and turn them into Dragonhide Armor for a profit. You can also buy the Hides from other people and simply craft them as well. You will need a crafting level of at least 57 to do this, but it will pay off in the long run. Come up with your patient, it is worth!
