Alberto Favaro obtained his Bachelor Degree in 2013 in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Padova. In 2016, he achieved the Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering with honors at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis concerning a novel system for controlling the knee movement in paraplegic subjects by means of a multi-muscle stimulation, developed during a 7-months period as visiting student at the Technical University of Berlin. Since May 2016, he is pursuing the PhD degree in Bioengineering at the Neuroengineering and Medical Robotics Laboratory (NEARLab) of Politecnico di Milano working on the EU Project EDEN2020. His research topics regard brain segmentation techniques, surgical trajectory planning and drug diffusion modeling within the context of convection-enhanced delivery (CED) for brain tumors treatment.
