Key Investigators
- MGH: Hiroyuki Yoshida,Yin Wu
- BWH: Steve Piper, Ron Kikinis
Objective
- Using the Namic GPU volume rendering engine and the Cuda volume rendering engine from Microsoft Research for virtual colonoscopy
- Add center line information to enable fly through using both engines
- Compare the image quality and performance of both engines
- Initial Multi-touch interface
Approach, Plan
- Input colon volume data and center line information Namic GPU render engines and Cuda volume rendering engine from Microsoft Research for virtual colonoscopy. Generate some benchmarks to compare the performance of Namic GPU Render with Microsoft Research Cuda volume rendering.
Progress
Currently the Microsoft Research Cuda volume rendering engine has been tried for real time colon rendering
