Objective

The goal of this project is to develop 2D ultrasound technology for image-guided procedures, specifically neurosurgery. Specifically, we focus on techniques that can operate in the absence of an external probe tracking systems, reconstruction and visualization.

Approach, Plan

  • Develop code (C++) for ultrasound feature matching and associated applications
    • calibration
  • Port to a Slicer module
  • Testing on calibration US data provided by PLUS, Tamas.

Progress

TBD

Delivery Mechanism

Slicer module.
