Tuesday, the 27th of September

Slicer hands-on tutorial to be held at the Department of Medical Physics and Medical Informatics.

At least two ~1.5 hours occasions are planned during the day. The rooms have 15 personal computers, Slicer will be preinstalled.

The rooms have a projector, so on this occasion we will have the possibility to practice general (or more specialized if there is a need!) Slicer usage.

It is a good idea to bring a laptop if possible, since - if there are more interested than about 15 persons - we may run out of computers. In this case, Slicer should be preinstalled, see the download page at slicer.org

Wednesday, the 28th of September

Under the umbrella of the Department of Image Processing and Computer Graphics, University of Szeged. Exact location, developer tools to be determined.

After about an hour introduction seminar to Slicer's programmatic background (VTK, ITK, CMake, programming styles, etc), participants will have the possibility to learn how to write and integrate a plug-in to 3D Slicer: this will be a "Hello world" tutorial.

Should some interest arise, more specific topics can be added. In this case please don't hesitate to contact Attila Nagy (see contact info above)
