Basis functions and responsibilities

1. Title of position and grade Robotics programmer and engineer 2. Basic functions and responsibilities Develop software tools for surgical robot Design, test, and build surgical robots Document the detail of the robot Technically assist in academic researchers Interface external collaborators and assist in their application using the developed tools and software

3. Characteristic duties and responsibilities

7. Qualifications, and Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering or Physics, with at least 5 years proven experience

with developing and/or modifying robot, preferably in the academic research setting.

Strong skill in C++ programming is needed. Experience in developing PC-based motion controllers system is a strong plus.

Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: motion controllers, coordinate transformation, programmable logic controllers (PLC), network programming, linux administration, and machine vision technology.



Compensation . Competitive according to experience.
