A variety of 3D-Slicer related projects were funded as administrative supplements through the federal stimulus package aka ARRA. These supplements are associated with NAC and NA-MIC. The projects will add capabilities to the 3D Slicer software to enable and enhance its usability as a powerful tool for imaging related translational clinical research. We will work closely with Harvard Catalyst to ensure relevance for the target audience of clinician scientists. An administrative supplement to Harvard Catalyst will fund a close integration between the I2B2 informatics framework and the XNAT image informatics framework which is part of the NA-MIC kit.
