Genus Zero Slicer 3 Module
Here write a brief overview of your project.
Description
Our Objective is to implement a Slicer 3 module to perform topology correction of voxel data to ensure a genus zero surface when extracting an iso-surface from the voxel data using marching cubes. This is useful for rendering purposes as well as an initial step for shape analysis methods relying on surfaces with spherical topology (i.e., genus 0, one connected component).
Progress
Finished the Slicer 3 module based on previous work by Steve Haker and Michael Rabes. A full ITK implementation is currently in progress (Michael Rabes).
