1. Consultations update
- This week we was 1 new request about in vivo imaging of neurons in mouse brain. Simon will be the consultant.
2. Feedback from Bruce on Harvard Catalyst budget meeting
- Bruce gave some feedback about the budget meeting he had with Lee and Laura on March 9.
3. Feedback from biomarkers lecture
- On March 22 and 23, several members of our group participated in the Harvard Catalyst two-day curriculum, Biomarkers and Imaging in Drug Development that takes a more comprehensive look at biomarkers in T1 translational research. Day 1 addresses the history, regulatory considerations, and development of new biomarkers, as well as their use in assessing drug safety. Day 2 focuses on imaging as a biomarker and its use as a clinical endpoint. Bob was the coordinator for the second day, they cover preclinical and clinical. During the first day people from the FDA and the industry talked about selection, qualification and validation of biomarkers. It was really a good course.
4. JIRA
- Valerie and Randy reminded the group how important it is not only to enter all the consultations in JIRA but to keep the database up to date by logging the hours worked and any outcome from the consultations. During the next face-to-face meeting, Valerie will do a live demo of the use of JIRA.
