# Consultations: Imaging 119: We are trying to develop vectors for brain tumor gene therapy with MRI properties. For this reason we thought to use petides with CEST contrast properties and engineer them into our viral vectors. We are a team that includes a cancer biologist, a virologist, neurosurgeon, neuro-oncologist, and a physicist with strong CETS MRI experience. To complete our work we need a protein chemist for the design of optimal peptides that can be used for our purposes.

* Randy received a request from MGH CRP to teach an imaging basics class for Clinical Research Coordinators/Research Nurses. The CRC/RN have described the goal of the imaging basics course as: to demystify imaging for (non-clinically trained) clinical research coordinators so that (a) they might understand it better and (b) they, in turn, can explain imaging better to their research subjects.
