1. Consultations
- We had a couple of new consultations, all have been assigned.
- Reporting on outcome of consultations: the NIH mandates that we report publications, grants benefitting from the consultations. In the coming weeks, Valerie will start contacting the PI we helped during the first 2 years to ask them about abstracts, publications and grants. The IT team under the supervision of Griffin Webber is working on an automatic search tool for grant and publication.
2. Rountable on clinical and applications of imaging: feedback from Ann Schlesinger, Research Navigator
- Ann gave the group an overview of the scope of the synergy series, insisted that it is a place to do informal networking and that event is completely different than the education series.
3. Education
- Randy asked Gordon Harris to be the coordinator for the cardiovascular sessions.
4. Multi-center trials
- During its next meeting, the multicenter trials subgroup will discuss cross-acquisition of animals. The problem is that the transport of animals from one institution to another is forbidden but one could consider buying a couple of identical mice at the different sites.
