Harvard Translational Imaging Consortium Meeting Minutes January 26, 2010

1. Consultations

  • Imaging-116: Dr Jong Woo Lee (BWH): Ron already helped the PI in the context of his K award, Randy will work with him on his request.
  • Imaging-117: Dr Peter Caravan (MGH): Imaging probe translation. So far there is no core facility at Harvard that offer biodistribution and pharmacokinetics studies for IND preparation. Jeff and Annick offered to help the PI with a phase 0 study. Bob will also work on this consultation.


2. Education program

Thursday June 3 (2-5 pm), Simches 3.120 MGH (Imaging in oncology)

  • Jeff and Annick asked for the June 3 tutorial to be reschedule earlier because they both will be out of town at the ASCO meeting. Valerie will contact MGH with a new set of dates to try to find a room.
  • The neuroimaging group has already a first draft of the structure of its module: http://www.na-mic.org/Wiki/index.php/CTSC:education_Neuroscience
    • The first lecture will be a series of cutting edge examples.
    • The second lecture, life cycle of medical imaging could be used for other lectures.
    • The 4th lecture, about resources will be a short talk, 10-15 minutes. Clare suggested to also add a list on where to get IT support for the image analysis.
