Seventh lecture: Overview of utilizing the Harvard Catalyst Imaging Resources (15 min including questions/wrap up)
- To provide a brief technical overview of the imaging modality.
- To provide an overview of the imaging biomarkers that the modality can generate.
- To provide one or two specific examples of the use of that modality in answering a clinical research question.
- To provide an overview of technical and / or logistical issues in utilizing the modality.

Learning objectives
- The participant will develop an understanding of the basic principles of the use of imaging biomarkers in clinical research.
- The participant will become familiar with the application of cardiovascular ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and nuclear imaging in clinical research
- The participant will understand the clinical imaging resources that are available through the Harvard Clinical and Translational Sciences Center (The Harvard Catalyst) Imaging Core.
- The participant will develop a basic understanding of the life cycle of medical imaging data.
