Home < Events:UBC 3D Slicer workshop August 2011Introduction
3D Slicer, is a free, open source software package for visualization and image analysis. The goal of the workshop is to show 3D Slicer can be used as in image-guided therapy research application software platform.
Topics include:
- 3D Slicer as image-guided therapy (IGT) software application platform
- Slicer modules: Volumes, Fiducials, Transforms, Data, Save/Load
- Slicer modules: Segmentation (Editor and automatic), Registration
- Programming Slicer (MRML, CLI)
- Live ultrasound in Slicer demo (OpenIGTLink IF, broadcaster application)
Training faculty: Andras Lasso and Tamas Ungi (Laboratory for Percutaneous Surgery, Queen's University)
