Project Description
Objective
- Slicer module for needle tip localization combining the information of an electromagnetic tracking system and a surface scanner.
Approach, Plan
- Use PLUS library for electromagnetic tracker data acquisition and to obtain tip's position.
- Use a surface scanner to obtain the surface.
- Use a rigid body with color markers (3D printed), visible for both systems.
- Register one space to the other in order to view it altogether.
Progress
- Slicer module partially implemented.
