Project: Development of Automated Segmentation and Meshing Framework for Orthopeadic Applications
Goals:
- Development and Validation of Automated Neural Network Segmentation for Orthopeadic Joints.
- Development of Automated Volumetric Meshing Algorithms.
- Integration of User Interface into Slicer
Current Status:
- Prototype neural network application being refactored using ITK framework.
- Basic volumetric mesh framework has been begun, but not yet functional in ITK.
- User interface has yet to be developed.
Test Data: MR and CT scans exist for 15 cadeaveric upper extremities. Surface scanning is being done to validate the manual and automated routines.
Team Members:
- Nicole Grosland
