Dissemination:Workshop May26-27 2005 Logistics

Location

The workshop will be held at Dartmouth, in Hanover, NH. We have reserved the Starr Instructional Center, located on the second level of the Berry Library on the Dartmouth Campus in Hanover. It is a short 5 minute walk from the Hanover Inn.

This room contains 20 iMacs running Macintosh OS X (10.3) for student stations, and 1 Macintosh G4 tower running Macintosh OS X for the Instructor's station. However, we would encourage you to bring your own high-powered laptop as the SLICER software will not be pre-installed on these machines. We will simply be using the ethernet hook-ups and power supplies in this room.

Hotel information

• Hanover Inn (800) 443-7024 group rate: $184 + tax
• We have reserved a block of 6 rooms for the night of Thursday May 26. When you call please say you are with the Dartmouth Brain Imaging Lab (Group #10850). You will need to provide your own credit card information and file for reimbursement. These rooms will be held until Wednesday, April 27 so please make your reservation early.

Alternatively, you may wish to reserve a room at one of these locations:

• Fireside Inn and Suites (West Lebanon, NH)
• Nowich Inn (Norwich, VT)

Flight information

• Manchester Airport (~1.5 hours away), which should be the same price as Boston.
  • Southwest.com usually has low fares to Manchester.
• Lebanon Airport (~10 minutes away), is a little more expensive but extremely convenient.

Driving Directions to the Hanover Inn

• Boston (2.5 hours)
  • I-93 NORTH to I-89 NORTH. Take EXIT #18. Bear RIGHT onto Rte 120 NORTH. Take a LEFT at the 8th TRAFFIC LIGHT onto East Wheelock Street (approximately 5 miles). The Inn is on the LEFT just before the next traffic light, ACROSS FROM THE DARTMOUTH GREEN.

• Manchester Airport (1.5 hours)
  • I-93 NORTH to I-89 NORTH. Take EXIT #18. Bear RIGHT onto Rte 120 NORTH. Take a LEFT at the 8th TRAFFIC LIGHT onto East Wheelock Street (approximately 5 miles). The Inn is on the LEFT just before the next traffic light, ACROSS FROM THE DARTMOUTH GREEN.

• Lebanon Airport (10 minutes)
  • LEFT out of the Airport, RIGHT at the traffic light, get in the LEFT lane. I-89 NORTH to I-91 NORTH. Take EXIT #13. Bear RIGHT onto Rte 12A. At 2nd TRAFFIC LIGHT, go straight through and the Inn is immediately on your RIGHT.
