  • Sept 26-27-28 meeting in Boston to (a) get demos of how core 3 is using the NAMIC kit and (b) milestone planning for next 6 months. (Tina)

  • Setting up a test LONI pipeline with ITK module
  • ITK 2.2 release

Highlights:

  • Tracking downloads
    • Steve Pieper - is there a way to collect more complete registration information from people downloading and installing software (e.g. Slicer) involved in NAMIC. For example, using a user's email to download contributed data and tools.
      • This service needs to be outside of the Wiki
      • Should be failry easy to setup
  • September 8th
    • Core 3 PIs have agreed to attend the engineering T-CON
    • Need to determine how to cover highlights of the programming week
  • Sept 26-28 meeting
    • Primary topic will probably be DTI module and diffusion MR
    • UCI & Dartmouth working with DTI module for a current on-going study
  • Update on Slicer activity
    • A lot of current work on DTI and fMRI modules
    • Need to think through co-development efforts in maintaining the 2.x Slicer and developments on top of this platform while moving to Slicer 3.0
  • Logistics on September Meeting Room
    • Room (1249 Boylston) reserved for the meeting
  • Setting up a test pipeline with ITK module
    • Steve Pieper suggested using the example from the Wiki
    • Michael agreed that this would be a good case
    • One issue raised was problems with ITK on Windows
      • Issue with path delimiters in running ITK module through LONI pipeline on Windows
      • Could it be a problem with the compiler (e.g.Cygwin vs. Visual Studio)
      • Discussion should be continued off-line
    • While Windows issues are being worked out - the UCLA group should setup the ITK Pipeline using Linux
  • ITK 2.2 release is next week!
