We are looking for a candidate with a bachelors degree in computer science or related field to join the Image-Guided Neurosurgery Laboratory led by Dr. Alexandra Golby at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. The laboratory focuses on using advanced structural and functional imaging to develop better surgical treatment for patients with brain tumors and epilepsy. The candidate will support clinical cases and research using the state of the art hardware and software tools.

The ideal candidate will have maturity commensurate with 2-4 years of work experience, system administration skills on multiple platforms (Unix/Linus, PC, Mac), programming in two of C/C++, Matlab, and 3D Slicer.

Job responsibilities will include integration and analysis of pre- and intra-operative imaging data (including MRI, DTI, ultrasound, fMRI, PET, CT, TMS, EEG) for clinical research use; operation of neuro navigation systems including BrainLab and 3D Slicer; post-procedure analysis and archiving of integrated datasets.

The right candidate will have good oral and written communication skills and will quickly find himself/herself collaborating with researchers (neuroscientists, computer scientists, biomedical engineers) from MIT, Harvard, and the NCIGT, and NA-MIC communities.
