Note: How to reference input and output scans? Just as scan numbers within the same subject? In practice, one could register between subjects, in which case, we lose the assumption that the input_scan reference is within the same subject. Should the input_scan be more general, to subject/visit/scan, such as: <input_scan>Forged_0001 Forged1_0001_1 3</input_scan>
