If you attended the Slicer/FreeSurfer Training workshop at the Surgical Planning Laboratory in Boston on September 30, 2005, please provide us with feedback here to help us improve future workshops.

The 3D Slicer workshop was extremely helpful because not only were we given an overview of all tools, but we were also encouraged to ask specific questions about Slicer features that pertained to our own labs. I feel this flexibility -- going back and forth between presenting new tools and addressing individual interests -- is what allowed each one of us to walk away with something concrete to bring back to our own laboratories. Also, because the Slicer tutorials are all online, the need for note-taking or handouts was minimized and the workshop remained truly hands-on. All workshop leaders were clear in their presentations and eager to provide assistance in order for everyone to keep pace with the tutorials. I would highly recommend attending. Marisa Tricario

I am incredibly impressed with the 3D Slicer program and the training workshop. The program interface is well designed and easy to use. Tools for viewing structural and functional data are unusually broad and versatile, and the documentation is clear and extensive. I very much appreciate that this preeminent program is available and maintained for the MacIntosh. Further the 3D Slicer workshop was a delight: well organized and well taught, with a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Monica Strauss
