Agenda for FBIRN Oct 17 meeting, San Diego

All meetings are occurring at the Cal-IT2 building at UCSD. Shuttles from the hotel to the meeting are provided. If you are driving in, the recommendation is to park in the three story parking structure on Gilman Drive and then walk over to the building. Parking near the Cal-IT2 building is very limited.

Hotel: Radisson Hotel in La Jolla

3299 Holiday Court La Jolla, CA 92037 Telephone: (800) 333-3333 (858) 453-5500

Morning Location: Cal-IT2 building, UCSD campus. Agenda here in Word form

  • 8:30 Welcoming/Overview remarks from Steven
  • 8:30-9 am Update on Progress since March
    • 8:35-8:50 Updates on Calibration correction methods: Ditto (Greg B.) Greg B's Slides
    • 8:50-8:55 Updates on Cognitive developments (Greg M.) Greg M's Slides
    • 8:55-9:05 Updates on IT developments since last year (David) David's Slides
  • 9:20-9:30 Questions and discussion about the above
  • 9:30-10:30 am FIPS training: All the Phase I and Phase II data have to be analyzed using this pipeline, and uploaded to the SRB. All sites need someone with training on how to do this. It’s critical to moving ahead in the next few months. However, the other efforts should split up at 10 am to their discussions.
  • 10- noon Planning the upcoming year: How do we get through steps 1 and 2, so that by this time next year we’re just about ready to start the traveling subjects protocol? What do we need done by March, to get there by October? This is split into two discussions, which will have to run in parallel. Stats, IT, and Clinical split among these (joining after the FIPS discussion as necessary), to make sure that the issues of analysis, patient validation, and tool development are included in the timelines.
  • Lunch at noon to 1 or so

Afternoon (3 separate rooms)

  • Two parallel tracks for the afternoon are proposed:
  1. Reliability Workshop: Monday October 17th 1:00 – 5:00
Leader: Greg Brown and Hal Stern
  2. IT Working Group, content to be integrated as needed with M-BIRN
Leader: David Keator and Stephen Wong
  • 5-5:30: Regroup in the central room for a quick integrated review of the developed timelines 'til March
