- Randy updated the speaker list.
- As for the other sessions, the talks will target people interested more in the discipline than the physics of the technique.
- General:
- Important to highlight health protected data in the life cycle of medical imaging talks.
- The talks can be uploaded on the SPL secure website, Valerie will communicate the url and the username and password.
3. Harvard Catalyst retreat
- Translational PIs are the main target of Harvard Catalyst.
- During the retreat, participant were asked to view Harvard Catalyst from the point of view of the PIs, the division chiefs, the CEO, the President etc.
- People do not believe that Harvard Catalyst reaches a broad enough group, very often people don't know about the resources.
- Any program that has money attached to it (KL2, pilot grant, PCIR lab support) gets a better impact.
- This means that having a budget to pay for scan would be a very good thing because so far we advertise the resources but we don't have the budget to let PIs used them.
- Bob suggested to be more pro-active and pick a couple of projects that are multi-institutional, support them and then show our accomplishment. Bob agreed to lead a subcommittee that would meet offline and then report to the group.
